What we need
The Director of Product Marketing is all about marketing our great products.
They are responsible for leading product marketing and need to be strategic and do the hands-on work. The primary focus of this role is to develop and foster an understanding of the product market and our buyer needs, develop product marketing strategies, and execute on product marketing initiatives that drive aggressive growth and long-term market value.

What you will do
The Product Marketing function is responsible for deeply understanding market dynamics and developing and implementing effective marketing initiatives. This role aligns with executive leadership, product management, sales, operations, finance, and customer success teams to help us differentiate and lead in the InsurTech space.

  • Define product marketing strategy to help the company focus on the right business objectives
  • Drive B2B lead generation efforts through direction consistent, measurable lead nurturing programs using digital marketing and email campaign strategies
  • Align product marketing objectives with company communications and brand initiatives
  • Partner with Product Management on the product roadmap and high-profile product launches
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns that will secure buyer mindshare
  • Support and lead content development for new business marketing efforts
  • Actively leveraging market research to understand client needs, prospect and buyer personas, market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Define product marketing strategy to help the company focus on the right business objectives
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns that will secure mindshare across the buyer’s journey and empower sales, account management, and customer success teams to effortlessly up-sell and cross-sell our products and services
  • Craft highly differentiated value propositions, positioning, and messaging

Your Experience

  • 10+ years of Product Marketing experience, preferably with B2B SaaS products and enterprise technology platforms
  • Previous B2B marketing experience with a focus on small business and enterprise software product marketing and solution selling
  • Previous experience with Marketing Automation (Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua or similar) & digital marketing techniques
  • Experience working in a highly competitive market space
  • Ability to understand and translate complexity into simplicity
  • Creative and innovative in problem solving and the formulation of solutions
  • Have an excellent command of written English and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to write quickly, clearly, and concisely
  • Have a good understanding of basic website content principles
  • Baseline knowledge of FinTech products and services, financial services or insurance products, preferred
  • Experience with common computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office), Salesforce a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field
